Looking for a Mid to Senior level Windows SE / Team lead who is
comfortable handling/managing day to day tasks as well as taking on
projects with some guidance from management and willing to go the
extra mile to complete timely projects
Some one who can hit the ground running.
*Someone with 7+ years in the SE capacity.*
Required skills: Bolded skills are the more important one.
-Good documentation skills - create / revise documentation that is clear,
precise and well understood. Must should strong background in documenting,
and demonstrate that it is important to them.
-Good written / verbal communications skills are highly desired for this a
visible position within the division.
- Works well in a team environment as well as someone who can become a team
lead for the windows group.
- Eager to learn and think outside the box.
- Able to be on call on a rotating schedule as well a being the point of
contact for escalations.
- Comfortable participating in group discussions as well as making
presentation to team and group members.
HW Knowledge: Bolded skills are the more important one.
- From a HW aspect, the candidate should have @ minimum 5-7 yrs of HW
knowledge on the following platforms:
- HP – DL, ML & BL series servers
- Fujitsu Blades (nice to have)
- Basic working knowledge of SAN functionality with some hands on
experience.
- Basic knowledge of networking topology and appliances.
- Experience in using Visio, Project, excel and word.
SW Knowledge: Bolded skills are the more important one.
- Windows 2000 & 2003 All versions - Strong knowledge in the various
versions are strongly required.
- DB knowledge – Basic functional understanding of how databases
function.
- RightFax 7.x & up - basic knowledge of functionality with the ability
to learn and understand the product completely too where they would be
considered the rightfax expert. Rightfax skills are greatly desired.
- Citrix XP.a & up – Understands the functionality of Citrix to assist
the current citrix expert and learn to be a citrix pro as well….Citrix
skills are a nice to have but are not a required skill.
- HP Service Desk – At minimal, understand the basic functionality of a
helpdesk application
- VMware - used, deployed, understand its uses and version differences
- Virtualization - has working knowledge of virtualization
