*TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST CONTRACTOR POSTING *
*POSITION DESCRIPTION*:
This individual must be experienced in facilitating evaluation of
business requirements for business application integration, service
activation, delivering new or modified software systems enhancements.
They must also possess experience in the development of scope,
goals, objectives, and business and system requirements while ensuring
complete traceability to project objectives.
This individual will uncover client requirements via industry
standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, case analysis,
workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, data and object
modeling.
Documentation skills (e.g. recording of meeting minutes,
development of requirements, design and business process documents) are
required.
Exceptional soft communication skills are required as this
individual will work closely with both business and technical clients at
various organizational levels in challenging situations.
Expectations are that candidates will exhibit role model behavior
to raise the level of skill within the Business Relationship Management
team; ability and willingness to coach and mentor other Business Analysts is
required.
Must be able to drive end-to-end production support incident
management which includes identification of impacted areas/applications,
coordinating client engagement and communication and driving the completion
of root cause analysis.
Must be able to concurrently manage multiple initiatives with
conflicting priorities while maintaining composure and a professional
demeanor.
Must support the compilation of various management reports on an as
needed basis.

*QUALIFICATIONS: *
*Requirements: *
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field -or- 10
years equivalent work experience is required.
8 or more years of technical project management or business
analysis experience.
o Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and
documenting business processes.
8 or more years of experience in facilitating evaluation of
business requirements for business application integration, service
activation, delivering new or modified software systems enhancements..
8 or more years experience performing within the System Development
Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
and MS Visio.
Must be able to create detailed charts and graphs and work with
pivot tables.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
Ability to communicate technically complex IT concepts to business
clients.

representative sampling of their writing in the form of business
requirements and memorandum directed to senior management. The samples
provided must have been written within the last 12 months. *
This individual shall be organized and detail oriented.
Experience with various web-based and mainframe technologies.
*Preferred skills/experience: *
Compuware Optimal Trace experience.
Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP ®) or other IT
certifications are a plus.
Experience in software vendor relationship/management activities.
Experience in Financial Industry / Banking applications (e.g.
lending applications, Treasury Management, check processing, retail banking
applications).
