The custom 1098T Interface functionality that we wish to replace was originally constructed to work with PeopleSoft Student Administration version 7.5. At that time, the delivered PeopleSoft 1098T Interface was not adequate to meet the needs of CLIENT System campuses. However, with the most recent version 9.0 release, it appears that the delivered interface will be able to meet most of our needs, with the addition of a new custom process to create the output file. Additionally, new student self-service functionality in version 9.0 makes it desirable for campuses to Much work has already been done to construct the custom program. However, there are areas within this subject area the in-house staff does not have the functional knowledge to address. S/he must understand the technical structure underlying the processes within Student Financials module, and the setup required to produce the required result. Familiarity with CLIENT business process and the current interface is be highly desirable. The consultant must be able to work independently, since there are no experts on the current interface; however, s/he will work with CLIENT developers on development of the new interface process. Consultants will be expected to travel to CLIENT System campuses to assist them with converting to the new process. Excellent communication, documentation and technical skills are required. The consultant must be willing to work within the standards of the CLIENT Division of Information Technology Collaborative Applications team (also known as the MILER team). Standards will be provided upon request. If enough time is available during the engagement, CLIENT would also like to use the same consultant to assist in the determining data conversion needs and setup required for our current GL Interface Redesign project. Again, expert knowledge of the existing interface would be highly desirable. ------------------------- Thanks!
