Direct in person interview. * *6 Months* *Boston**, MA*** * * *The candidate will be responsible for planning, configuring, installing and managing every components of Verizon Business Emerging Services Lab, from routers and switches in our data network, to VoIP platforms and application servers. The candidate will also be responsible for the installation and management of products that are ground breaking and not out on the market yet. The company is seeking someone with at least 15+ years of experience in Network Engineering including: CCIE Cert, Unix, Linux, STP, DNS, VLAN, SNMP, Trunking, MRTG/Nagios, EtherReal/WireShark, 6500 router and 4500 switch. MUST-HAVES -- The candidate must also have knowledge of: -Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) -VLANs -MPLS -Trunking -SNMP -Network Management/Monitoring Technology (MRTG;Nagios) -WiFi -RSPAN -Port Spanning -DNS -Protocol Analyzers (EtherReal/WireShark) -Experience in the following platforms: Microsoft or Linux/Unix. * * * *REQUIRED EDUCATION: The candidate should have a Masters of Science in Systems Management or similar and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
