I have a *3-4 month contract position* in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for a BA.
We have direct manager contact and should have a *quick turnaround time*; it
is an *urgent need for the client*.
It is a *replacement* for someone who will be out for longer.
*Business Analyst with BI/DW Skills*
*Required Skills** (needed to successfully complete responsibilities):*
- Must have 5+ years as a solid *Business Analyst* and responsible
for *gathering
requirements, writing functional and technical specs*, and completing all
required project documentation.
- Must have some knowledge of *writing SQL Queries* and be able to help
with *Ad Hoc query requests*.
- Must have some knowledge of *MS Reporting Services* and or *MS Analysis
Services* to help define business logic while writing specs.
*Overall Project Description: (Includes Description of Project and Business
Implications of Project):*
- Consultant will be hired into the corporate Business intelligence group
to help support their business reporting and analysis team members in
gathering business requirement, developing specifications, and helping in
the QA support.
*Job Description for our Consultant (Includes Daily responsibilities and
expectations):*
- Consultant is responsible for the following tasks:
- Meeting with all business owners and user to gather business
requirements, develop functional specifications, and write technical
specifications.
- Responsible for heavy documentation of business requirements
- Responsible for working with report writers and data analysts to
ensure project deliverables are followed and met in terms of
overall project
scope and specs.
