PRIMARY DUTIES: Design and implementation of carrier-grade wireless messaging applications using Service Level Logic (SSL) and C++ programming languages within a UNIX distributed network environment. These applications will be required to meet high throughput and high availability (e.g., 24x7) client network standards. The applications operate on scalable, high availability UNIX platforms inside a commercial wireless intelligent network and are used to deliver short text messages to mobile phones and hand held devices. Design, implement, analyze, modify, test and maintain SSL code; Assist in developing technical and functional specifications based on business requirements; Provide estimates for tasks assigned; Follow ISO development process to produce required application functionality; and follow and enhance development standards.
