They will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level web applications and services to support our business operations. Ideal candidates will have a thorough grasp of the .NET framework, ASP.NETcontrols and event model, and ADO.NET components. Experience with Service-Oriented, multi-tier architecture and implementation of scalable, high-performing .NET web applications is critical as is a thorough understanding of mobile web development. Additionally, a solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and stored procedures is a must. Knowledge of windows and web services and distributed application development is also desirable. We are an “Agile” development shop and have short development cycles (with 2 week sprints). Expected Background • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 5+ years C# programming experience required with 2+ years experience programming C# in an ASP.NET environment • 3+ years experience with n-tier application development • Solid web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, XML) • SQL programming and relational database design skills • 3+ years experience with mobile web development using ASP.NETand targeting the following: o Blackberry (various models) o iPhone o Windows Mobile • Experience using ASP.NET MVC or similar patterns (C#) • Extensive knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented design • Good teamwork and communication skills, driven and highly motivated • Experience with “Agile” / XP or similar dynamic software development processes • Experience using SVN preferred but will also consider CVS or similar experience.
