Job Requirements: Lead technical architecture for various Java Based systems and Service Oriented Platforms. Experience in Java J2EE, especially with versions 1.4 and higher. Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in systems development in a variety of computing architectures and environments. Thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering. Must have strong technical expertise in the Java J2EE environment, Web development usi ng JSP, JSF, Spring, EJB and other open source technologies, SOA Webservices design and development, UNIX, Windows, MQ Series, UML, Tiered architecture, Relational Databases, and object oriented methodologies. Experience in IBM Websphere 5.x/6.x and Websphere Process Server is strongly preferred . B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required. Requires 10 years of experience in IT with a minimum of five years in application systems architecture and design. Good communication skills are integral to this position.
