Must be strong Cobol/CICS and DB2 with Jave and as much web experience as possible. Client Team is looking for a Sr. Programmer/Analyst with mainframe experience using CICS, COBOL, DB2, Endeavor and JCL. Work experience with JAVA, .NET, Web Services, SOAP, XML, WebLogic 8.1, Eclipse, Perforce or other web technologies is also required. A good understanding of Java server-side technologies, JMS, J2EE Application Servers and experience in UML with hands-on experience in design patterns is a plus. The candidate should be able to provide technical expertise to the project team members on the design, development, test and implementation of a dynamic, web-based application to a full-featured data delivery platform. Successful candidate will be self-motivated, with strong written and verbal communication skills. A working knowledge of the software development life cycle is a must as well as critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills. Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, work well in a team environment and be able to manage projects across multiple IT teams.
