Good Morning!!! We have an urgent requirement for “*QA with Investment Banking experience*”. Let me know if you have any consultants whose profile is a perfect match for below requirement. *Requirement*: QA with Investment Banking experience Location: NYC Duration: 6 months MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: • Working on multiple concurrent QA projects against firm timelines. • Able to understand the complex architectural systems involving multiple technologies, platforms. • Analyze business requirements, functional and technical specifications to define test scope and test approach. • Plan and participate in UAT/ Integrated QA testing involving multiple applications/interfaces. • Understand the test environments, components involved. • Lead a team of few testers (mid-level, junior) and manage them on day-to-day basis for tasks at hand. • Gather and present Daily/Weekly Project status metrics to management in timely fashion and escalate any issues in timely fashion. • Create test strategy, detailed working plan, resource plan and identify risks/dependencies for each of the project involved with. • Interact with various functional streams – Ops, BDG, Development, Infrastructure across the length of the project. • Assist in creating test strategy and test plan documentation. • Design, create and execute test scripts with appropriate test data for functional and non-functional test phases. • Defect tracking and defect resolution. • Provide metrics for reporting and release readiness reports. • Maintain and execute regression packs. Essential - At least 6 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance in IT organization with Financial Domain. - Previous experience in working with Developers, Business users and / or architects in the development of new product requirements. - A self starter, the candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working both independently and within a team, using one's own initiative to provide robust and timely QA based on sound principles to deliver successful IT solutions within the investment banking industry. - Solid Experience in planning, managing and executing QA activities for mid-to-large scale projects involving multiple systems. - Sound QA practises, organizational skills. - Effective communication skills, co-ordination of tasks around multiple work streams. - Good technical appreciation of manual testing tools and techniques, strong SQL, good Unix skills, knowledge of multi-tier architecture and environment configuration. - Sound knowledge of investment banking (Securities Lending preferred).
