Basic Qualifications: *•A Bachelors degree along with 7 or more years relevant experience or more than 9 years of applied IT experience. * *•DB2 Systems programmer experience required in a medium to large-scale Z/OS production environment. * Technical Qualifications: *• Previous experience installing and supporting DB2 on the z/OS platform in an SAP environment.* *•Expertise in z/OS DB2 database application tuning. * *•Advanced problem resolution skills on the z/OS DB2 platform.* *•Experience with DB2 Datasharing. * *•Good knowledge of DB2 on z/OS as it pertains to SAP.* *•Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor other team members.* * *Other: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Professional presence and business diplomacy skills ************************************************************************************************ *Position #2* *Mainframe Storage Administrator* * * Responsibilities: This position is responsible for overseeing and providing direction for the mainframe storage systems (both disk and tape) and includes the following: •Design mainframe storage solutions that follow client technology standards and meet the needs of the business. •Performs industry research for mainframe storage technologies and related software, tools, standards and training. •Implement, and integrate new hardware and software products into the existing storage infrastructure. •Monitor system utilization and develop models for sizing and workload distribution within the storage infrastructure. •Creates and implements mainframe storage administration procedures, standards, guidelines, tools, services and training. •Performs analysis and directs problem resolution related to mainframe storage. •Ensure a highly available mainframe storage environment. •Coach team members and client’s outsourced delivery partners.
