Kindly Revert back your updated profile to [email protected]* *Specialist Platform (BI/DW) – Business Objects* *New York City(Need local or Nearby)* *4 months+* *phone screen w/ a potential face to face interview* * * *Key Responsibilities:* o Drives solution conceptualization, technical design and development o Facilitates requirement gathering and prioritization o Utilizes their deep understanding of BI/DW design principles in implementing BI package solutions o Helps resolve complex technical issues o Works with delivery teams to improve their architecture and tool knowledge o Mentors the team members o Shares best practices and lessons learnt across teams o Independently leads the estimation effort for the BI/DW pieces of an engagement *Experience: * o 10-12 years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years in developing and designing large scale analysis and reporting solutions using BusinessObjects with exposure to industry standard BI/DW architectures *Job Requirements:* o Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field required. o In depth knowledge of BusinessObjects XI R2 or higher in Universe/Report design and development. o Strong experience in performance tuning BusinessObjects universes/reports o Strong data modeling skills including dimensional modeling o Experience in creating logical/physical architectures o Knowledge of databases and their features commonly used for BI/DW o Knowledge of different types of environments (development, staging, testing and production etc) and usage of those environments in the various stages of application development lifecycle o Knowledge of BusinessObjects administration is desirable. o Exposure to multiple OLAP and Reporting tools is desirable. o Knowledge of ETL tools is desirable.
