*REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: *
Minimum Six(6) years experience in *ER and dimensional data
modeling. *
*Can develop, integrate, manage and promote
Enterprise/Application/Subject Area level logical and physical data models.
*
In-depth understanding of *Business Intelligence and Data
Warehousing architectures and subject matter. *
*Minimum Six(6) years experience with Oracle (SQL scripts, stored
procedures, triggers, optimization, etc.), DB2, and SQL Server database
management systems. *
Knowledge of tools, techniques and practices for efficient and
effective design and support of data structures in *BI, Data Warehouse and
Data Mart environments. *
* Expertise in Erwin Data Modeler 7.2 and Model Manager, IBM Rational
System Architect 10.7, SQL, Windows XP, MS Office, TSO ISPF, Informatica
Power Center, COBOL, Cognos. *
Experience working with *business and IT teams clarifying data
requirements; participating in analysis sessions; performing data analysis,
data profiling, data mapping, reverse data engineering and data modeling. *
Ability to work with team members to design and maintain a corp.
data architecture that will allow the data warehouse to evolve with the
business.
Ability to work with other subject matter experts to develop data
storage strategies to support company needs.
Must be team-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Must have excellent verbal/written communications skills with the
ability to express oneself, and can communicate effectively with all levels
of staff and management.
Able to work with minimal supervision, and has proven experience
working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple
priorities and firm deliverable dates.
*PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: *
*Knowledge/understanding of* *health care business and data;
