Database Programmer

Functional Responsibility:

Gather requirements, project manage, create, test, implement, and
document complex Access databases, batch jobs, and mainframe scripts.
Provide presentations, helpdesk support and ad-hoc reporting to
various customers including SI/CIS management and employees.
Troubleshoot and fix minor issues with computers, printers, scanners,
copy machines, and a variety of other office equipment. Provide
support to all departments in the form of customer service, workflow
modification, and general problem solving. Maintain and acquire new
skills as operational objectives and technological initiatives
change.

Minimum/General Experience:

Three (3) years of specialized experience required. Must have
experience creating and maintaining Access database applications using
VBA. Must be technically proficient with Office 2003, specifically
Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access. Must be self motivated and able to
track and complete projects with minimal supervision. Must be an
effective and collaboratively communicator with excellent written and
verbal communication skills. Must be able to present technical
information in both formal and informal settings. Must have a passion
for problem solving and learning.

Preferred, Not Required:

Customer service, helpdesk support, HTML, web development
technologies, OCR/ICR technologies, .NET, JavaScript, CSS, project
management, GTD, public speaking, user training, IP networking, SQL,
data normalization.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university. A
combination of higher education and experience may be substituted.
