Position: Construction Manager Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 2 Years Contract Rate: $50/hr JOB DUTIES: . Manage construction process of all new telecommunication facilities and modification projects to existing facilities. . Responsible for forecasting dates and managing timelines of construction milestones. . Order and review A&E, tower and foundation, and structural reports. . Ensure timely review and redline process for A&E services. . Coordinate with Real Estate Manager on zoning and regulatory requirements for site design. . Monitor status of Telco walks, work orders, circuit delivery and identify challenges. . Manage bid walks, GC selection, and purchase order timing. . Prioritize projects and coordinate scheduling with cross-functional departments. . Oversee BOM ordering, receipt and distribution of materials, and manage local warehouse inventory. . Develop positive relationships with property owners and negotiate any issues to mutual satisfaction through the build process. . Review purchase orders for financial management of goods and services received. . Attend weekly deployment meetings. . Address any and all other post installation issues. . Serve as primary lead between market Development Manager and outsourced vendors/GCs REQUIRED SKILLS: - Minimum 1 to 5 years industry or associated commercial real estate experience. - Prior development and/or construction related experience. - Knowledge of materials used in telecommunications facilities site design considered a plus. - Well organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. - Able to identify critical tasks and organize times without supervision. - Understanding of construction drawings and redline process considered a plus. - Familiar with environmental reports and government approvals considered a plus. - Must demonstrate the ability to think critically through a process, anticipate challenges, and prepare solutions in advance. - Must demonstrate the ability to identify inefficient processes and make recommendations for improvement.
