Visual Basic/Baseline 8.0 Developer (7 months contract - Philadelphia, PA) Only Local consultant
Project Summary: Our client is looking for an experienced Visual Basic developer to help us deliver the next version of their Baseline v 8.0 software. This project is needed to integrate another application to the existing baseline software. This will ensure customers will use the new Baseline Software since they were previously using the application being integrated. At least 5 years of professional experience using Visual Basic 6.0 is required. Experience with Microsoft VB.Net and C# is also preferred. Ideal candidate will have experience with software development life cycle, will be self-motivated, will respond well to instruction and will be comfortable working in a team environment. Experience working in the financial industry is a plus, but is not required.
