Job Description: Work closely with the PepsiCo Engineering and infrastructure team. To help build UNIX expertise within the Test Center. Utilize appropriate test planning, design and management tools in the execution a of test activities and utilize HP Unix servers Define and implement verification and validation practices, standard and processes in the UNIX test environment Leverage existing processes and tools while identifying and improving gaps relating to the implementation and utilization of test automation/ test tools HELP the TEST Center implement HP Openview monitoring solution to be utilized within the test environments. HP_UX/AIX System Adminstrator: Key responsibilities include* Strong working knowledge of HP-UX and AIX OPERATING SYSTEMS AND HARDWARE Develop and execute scripts and other UNIX utilities Define and configure hardware and software components as necessary to support UNIX initiatives. ’Provide 7X24 on-call support as part of an on call rotation. Work closely with other engineers and operations staff to solve real time issue. Lead/participate in projects of the Systems Engineering team to deliver and support new technology implementations. ’Contribute to the analysis, design snf build of new/existing servers within the UNIX environment.
