Junior Database Administrator Requirements REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: • BS in Computer Science or related field • 2-4 years’ work experience performing Database Administrator/Architect duties on Oracle and/or SQL Server databases • Strong understanding of Relational Databases, Data Structures, and SQL, in addition to the application of E-R Diagrams. • Demonstrated experience in the area of database/SQL performance tuning • Familiarity with prevalent SDLC methodologies PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: • Performing database backups and restores • Monitoring and tuning all database environments • Automating scheduled tasks • Generation and analysis of access plans • Table and index analysis • DDL script creation and maintenance • Release support • Perform SQL monitoring (via tools) of test cycles • Maintaining a data dictionary • Ensuring continued data integrity • Creation and distributing of database schema and diagrams • Architectural analysis • Review and approval of SQL implementation • Performance monitoring Thank you, DBA FYI Center http://dba.fyicenter.com/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OCP_DBA" group.
