Database Administrator (SQL Server or Oracle) You will be responsible for the installation, enhancement, and maintenance of large-scale (TB) Oracle and SQL Server databases running both in our product development environment and live at our client sites. Using your background in database design and administration, you will be responsible for database upgrades associated with product releases and for the enforcement of database standards and adherence to SDLC methodology. Your DBA responsibilities will include database performance analysis and tuning, and you will play a key role in providing top-tier database support to both internal and external customers. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: * 2+ years’ work experience performing Database Administrator/ Architect duties on Oracle or SQL Server databases * Strong understanding of Relational Databases, Data Structures, and SQL, in addition to the application of E-R Diagrams * Demonstrated experience in the area of database/SQL performance tuning PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: * 2+ years work experience performing Database Administrator/Architect duties on Oracle 10g and/or SQL Server 2005 databases * Experience with Data Warehouses and High Volume databases * Familiarity with DB2 databases * Experience with ER/Studio or equivalent * Experience with Visual Studio .NET and/or Eclipse * Experience with .NET 2.0/3.5 framework, AJAX, CSS, Master Pages, Silverlight, COM, Web Services, and .NET-JAVA interoperability, such as JNBridge * Experience with version control software and related principles (tagging, branching, etc.) * Configuration/Build management experience, including knowledge of InstallShield * Experience with 3rd party controls, such as Infragistics NetAdvantage * Experience with crystal reports * Legacy experience with COM/COM+ (or equivalent) * Web Services experience (UDDI, WSDL, Remoting, etc) * Experience with nUnit, dbUnit, CVS * Enterprise Service Bus (to include messaging and workflow) such as Sonic, BizTalk or MS WWF * Experience developing and releasing at least one Enterprise Solution and/or Product Thank you, DBA FYI Center http://dba.fyicenter.com/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OCP_DBA" group.
