Oracle Applications Developer * Provide production support for Oracle Configurator and related modules like Quoting, Install Base and Order Management applications. * Identify and propose technical solutions that meet business requirements. * Perform problem analysis, debugging and coding as part of production support and new development. * Create technical specifications and unit test plans. * Provide work effort estimates. * Document and review materials for setup and training. * Assist with the build release process as required. * After implementation should provide leadership towards continuous improvement. * Work with teams as required on problem resolution and enhancements. * Teaching and training internal team members on the Configurator functionality of Oracle. Experience and Skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree. * Minimum 5-7 years of work experience with Oracle E-Business Suite. * Extensive knowledge and proven implementation experience with the three Oracle Configurator components - The Configurator Developer, The Configurator Runtime and The Configurator Schema. * In depth knowledge of Configurator design and modeling, Bills of Material restructuring, and Oracle Configure to Order processes which includes but are not limited to the creation of the Bill of Material structure and the import process into the Configurator Schema. * Extensive knowledge of the Configurator Developer components including the creation of the model structure, rule definitions, UI design and the use of functional companion. * Thorough understanding of Configurator-APIs for integration & extensions. * Ability to analyze requirements, perform a map gap assessment as well as perform module configuration set-ups/ maintenance. * Knowledge of Configurator attributes, and designing Configurator Extensions are also required. * Additional preferred experience includes Inventory, Quoting, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Work in Process and Install Base. * Excellent communications skills is a must. * Excellent writing and documentation skills are required.
