Oracle PL SQL Developer Skills you need: • 5+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS 9i and/or 10g • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 preferred • Strong PL/SQL development experience (SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views) • Database design experience with knowledge of data normalization, referential integrity, indexing and database sizing • Proficiency with data loads and data loading strategies • Experience with data modeling software such as Erwin or Visio • Experience developing scalable transactional systems • Strong writing and communication skills • Ability to explain and articulate difficult technical issues • BS degree in IT, CS, or a related field What you'll be doing: • Write PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers and views using sound design principles • Maintain Schema changes across different web applications preferably using a model design tools. Work with the development team to optimize data base access within the applications • Participate in technical design discussions. • Coordinate with other application teams such as E1 & Siebel teams on data base changes.
