*Responsibilities*
Develop, coordinate and manage projects and project plans for development;
develop proposals and delivery tasks/issues. Should ensure the accuracy and
integrity of the data for each application managed through proper governance
of CMM procedures and policies. When needed this resource may even provide
detailed analysis, efficient coding, writing clear documentation, and prompt
identification and resolution of problems as they arise. The Lead is also
responsible for working independently and proactively to analyze, identify,
and interpret problems in unusual circumstances, and to develop and
implement measures to solve them. Work is reviewed for professional
judgment, support of organizational and departmental goals, and accuracy and
quality of performance. High level requirements may include but not limited
to the following:
- Function as a developer for interoperability design and problem
resolution related to business applications and related middleware
components.
- Performance monitoring, capacity planning, system tuning, and
availability planning.
- Technical and business writing skills needed; including formal/informal
oral presentation; Standards development.
- Select, evaluate and recommend third-party software solutions for
business problems
*Qualifications:*
This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or related IT field or a
certification from technical school plus 4 years experience, OR equivalent
experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience in full life cycle project
management is required. Must be able to evaluate demands on a timely basis
and distribute resources effectively, establish and manage multiple
priorities, and respond appropriately to unplanned events/projects. Must be
able to teach, develop, and motivate others. Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and manage customer
relationships and expectations.
Abilities/Skills:
Knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies and tools, and
experience with large and complex systems. Experience with
multi-system/platform program integration. Experience in all and
demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following: logical and
physical applications design; technical documentation; full-cycle system
development; networking; Extract Transform and Load tools, transactional
toolsets; RDBMS; Web-enabling applications; Java technologies (EJB, JSP,
servlet).
*Preferred: *
BS in Computer Science, Experience with some or all of the following:
Informatica, Informatica CDC, Tibco ADB, Oracle DBMS, CICS, OO development,
Business Objects, Java, .net, Shell scripting, plsql, SQL.
