C#/VBA Developer in IT Derivatives 2. Life Finance The VBA/C# Developer will: 3. Perform excel/VBA and C# work to facilitate the conversion of front office spreadsheets to the new framework. 4. Carry out development efforts utilizing a wide variety of technologies on systems and feeds between spreadsheets, front office data stores, and back office channels. 5. Support to the Life Finance trading desks in NY and London. 6. Dealing with urgent trader requests and issue resolution. 7. Perform work on new strategic systems to assist the replacement of spreadsheets. 8. Interfacing with other IT departments, in particular Derivatives IT, Product Control and RMM to ensure that the work falls within the main overall IT strategy for the organization. 9. Gain an understanding of the Life Finance business and the trading processes. Required Skills: 10. A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent is required. 11. Strong hands-on excel experience with Excel, VB/VBA and COM technologies required. 12. Experience programming in a fast paced environment 13. VB/VBA Excel/MSOffice development environments. 14. Experience with COM programming paradigms. *Desired Skills*: 1. A graduate degree in the same is highly desirable as is a secondary degree in finance or business (MBA or MFE preferred). 2.
