*Lead Level LDAP Administrator*



* LDAP Administrator Production Support for the Enterprise Data & Identity
Management group.
* Maintain ongoing daily operations, and provide technical support of
multiple eCommerce platforms in a large-scale, corporate enterprise IT
environment utilizing host and Vtier file systems on Solaris 9 /10, Oracle
9i /10g, and WebLogic.
* Perform daily healthchecks, in-depth problem solving, and advanced
troubleshooting utilizing UNIX shell scripting and/or Perl Scripting and SQL
queries to provide root cause analysis.
* Troubleshoot Customer problems by tracing operative path starting from the
LDAP database all the way back to the Billing Systems.
* Use Sun ONE Directory Server Console to analyze problems, implement
necessary changes and adjust performance tuning such as Load Balancing
distribution, CPU Utilization, number of Connections, and taking proxy
servers in/out of proxy rotation.
* Respond to and analyze source of Patrol, Telalert, Nagios, alert messages
for issues related to SIDM (Subscriber Identity Data Management), EED
(Employee Enterprise Directory), Kodiak PTT (Push-To-Talk), AIM
(Authentication & Identity Manager) platform for single sign on ability and
Identity Data Management infrastructure for Employees, EDSAT (Enterprise
Directory Subscriber Access Tool), VRI (Virtual Repository Interface), and
Reconciliation.
* Conduct LDAP implementation, maintain and build production application
environments to specifications, set up and modify configurations, and
install kits.
* Work with enterprise wide applications and personnel as well as other team
members to establish and maintain 24x7 high availability for subscriber data
in a replicated environment.
* Provide subscriber authentication/authorization for Online Account
Management and MediaNet.
* Share team responsible for team deliverables and meeting specified
milestones and to fulfill software release deadlines.
* Serve as Savvion Business Process Manager (BPM) Studio Administrator to
create new user accounts, assign groups/permissions, troubleshoot problems,
handle new version deployments to QC and Production environments.
* Created CWiki and SharePoint site for Team communication portals of shared
documentation, calendars, and contact listings.
* Follow, maintain, document, and help establish standard processes to
ensure results repeatability.


 Database design expert. Needs to be able to help design, implement,
troubleshoot, Oracle, MySQL, and *SunONE LDAP*. Needs to perform sizing and
tuning recomendations. Needs to work with DBAs to determine best redundacy,
failover, data replication, and monitoring for the various databases. Needs
to be proficent in Solaris. Will provide guidance in layout of databasees as
well as other layers of the application.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for the same activities as the
Technical Architect but has a broader scope of responsibilities and more
in-depth business and technical knowledge. Responsible for multiple projects
or large complex projects with cross functional teams and business
processes.  Demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple technical and business
functional areas as well as performing a larger leadership role in the
organization. Apply broad in- depth business and technical knowledge to
establish technical direction and priorities. Resolve and work on issues
across multiple functional areas. Effectively monitor and take action to
ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and
decide on issues requiring escalation. Incumbents understand the system flow
for a project throughout an entire functional area (e.g. Billing, Customer
Care) not just a subsystem area.  They have medium to long range planning
responsibilities.
