*Mandatory Job Title Requirements:* **
Minimum 8 years experience in system support of large Unisys OS2200
mainframe environment
* *
Minimum 8 years experience in Application and Systems programming on the
Unisys OS2200 mainframe environment
* *
Bachelor's degree in computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
* *
Excellent English communication skills
* *
*Skill Area*
* *
*Mandatory Skills and Technical Qualifications:*
8 or more years experience providing system support for Unisys
ClearPath/IX (2200) mainframes
* *
8 or more years experience in MASM and/or PLUS
* *
8 or more years experience in COMUS, SOLAR, SSG, and other standard
processors
* *
8 or more years experience trouble-shooting, testing, generating,
configuring, upgrading local code, performance monitoring, etc of the EXEC
and all related software and utilities.
* *
5 or more years experience in OS2200 integration software including:
Open/DTP, TM-2200, MQS-2200, DMS-RA, DTP-RA and the Relational JDBC driver.
* *
8 or more years trouble-shooting, testing, generating, configuring,
upgrading local code, performance monitoring, etc of the 2200 communications
software complex and related software and utilities.
* *
8 Or more years experience supporting of UDS environment (primarily
DMS, also RDMS)
* *
8 or more years of experience supporting MAPPER on the OS2200 environment
* *
8 or more years experience working in a development environment for large
scale transaction processing Unisys ClearPath/IX (2200) mainframe
environment
* *
4 or more years experience with the following OS2200 related products: TCIS,
AMA/OPE, CPFTP and DEPCON
* *
4 or more years experience working with New York State Office for Technology
(OFT) including knowledge of OFT policies, procedures, and standards
* *
*Duties/Responsibilities:*
Provide system engineering support to include
- Trouble shooting/Performance Analysis/Tuning
- Installation of patches
- Development of administrative utilities
- Database backup and recovery
- Upgrading to new levels
- General MAPPER Administration
* *
Create custom code when unique requirements arise
* *
Adhere to OFT policies, procedures, and standards
* *
Recognize problem situations and proactively solve them, both individually
and as part of a team.
* *
Perform approved production changes scheduled in off hour maintenance
windows as assigned
* *
Available to work extra whenever needed for unscheduled problems and
emergencies
