*Position: *SR SAP Basis Admin Duration: 3+Months Location: Lees Summit, MO *( Only Local )* Rate : Open *Need 10 + yrs exp with all the skills mentioned (Local will be **preferred* *)* Job Duties: 40% SAP Software 20% SAP Database Administration 20% System Monitoring and Event Management 20% Third party software installation and support *** Specialized/Practical Knowledge: 8 or more years experience in SAP Basis Administration with emphasis on SAP Netweaver 2004s and Solution Manager administration including experience with supporting large productive SAP systems (500+ users, 1 TB or larger databases) in unix and windows environment, preferably on AIX, HP-UX, Windows Server 2K+. Experience with upgrading SAP systems, and with applying patches and installing add-ons using the SPAM and SAINT transactions. Experience with installation, administration, and configuration of SAP Solution Manager is a must. Oracle and MS SQL Server database administration experience. Experience with SAP Portal is a must.: Experience SCM (formerly APO) systems including Live Cache and Optimizer, SAP BW/BI, XI/PI administration, DB2 database administration, experience with Unicode conversions, and various other 3rd party software. *** Management Skill: Will not be directly responsible for managing people or projects, but will be required to provide timely and accurate input into project plans and status reporting to project managers and for providing input to project plans for work to be provided by the Basis Team *** Interaction: Interacts regularly with functional leaders and sometimes top execs.Uses persuasion and influence to work towards resolution.
