*Job Title: Architect/Technical Lead*
Profile: Candidate must have strong design and development skills and have
good knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of technologies in
developing highly scalable web applications using J2EE stack. Candidate must
be highly detail oriented and must have flair of technical documentation.
Familiarity with UML and multiple software development methodologies is a
must.
**
*Essential Job Responsibilities:*
· Architect and design applications to meet the needs of clients’
products and business.
· Explore technologies and tools, build proof of concept systems and
recommend the most suitable tools, technologies and design/architecture
patterns for solution development.
· Document the design and architecture, and transition to
implementation.
· Establish standards for architecture, design and development and
best practices and encourage and ensure compliance
· Mentor and guide development team members
· Work with a variety of technical professionals in analyzing the
business problems, coordinate their efforts, building consensus and lead to
sound decisions.
· Review the work performed by technical team members and third
parties and provide necessary feedback to ensure that the integrity of the
solution is maintained.
· Review requirements and work with product management and
development groups to assess feasibility and make necessary changes to the
requirements
· Produce necessary technical documentation.
*Essential Job Qualifications (include education/training/certifications,
etc.):*
- 10 to 15 years of experience in developing large scale J2EE
applications with at least three years of experience in a leadership
position.
- Experience working with the following technologies
- JSP, AJAX, Flex
- BlazeDS, Spring, Hibernate
- Java & J2EE technologies
- Application servers such as JBoss
- Reporting tools such as Jasper server/BIRT/SQL Server Reporting
service
- Application security implementation using identity management
systems
- Application integration technologies such as ESB, JMS, Web services
using SOAP
- Protocols such as SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP
- MySQL, MS SQL, LDAP
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture paradigm is a must
- Experience working with Business Process management systems such as
ActiveVOS, Intalio
- Familiarity with data mining concepts, ETL processes
- Fluent in SQL, Stored procedure and database Trigger and familiar with
data modeling and data architecture concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working
with modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, Erwin
- Experience in setting up and using build environments using Maven, Ant,
Hudson etc.
- Stellar documentation skills with keen eye for details.
- Advanced knowledge of established and evolving software industry
practices and design methodologies.
- Must be a proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented, independent worker
with strong interpersonal skills
