Northridge, CA *Job Duties :* Coordinates and communicates tactics with and to functional areas,Manages simple to complex parts and process changes ,Performs and manages validation ,Prepares and presents presentations *CAD Systems: *AutoCAD, Solid works *Development Tools: *Assembler, C, C Sharp, C++, FPGA, Lab Windows, Labview, P-SPICE, SPICE, * * *Request Notes : * •An electrical engineer position to design and test electronic sub-systems. •Design analog and digital circuits for low power battery operated microprocessor controlled medical devices. •Design automated test systems or subsystems for testing such devices described above. •Areas of responsibilities will include microcontroller digital circuits, digital signal processors (DSPs), power systems, sensor interfaces, optoelectronics, A/D conversion, RF telemetry, and PC-based data acquisition. •Must be able to write detailed electrical specifications, generate design documentation, test specifications and test reports in compliance with design control procedures used within the medical device industry. Responsibilities: •Design digital/analog subsystems in commercialized products or automated test systems. •Develop electrical test systems and associated software used to validate the functionality of electrical subsystems •Support the development of several microprocessor and DSP based medical products •Support Manufacturing in troubleshooting operations involving electronics assembly and test •Design and development of embedded controller systems •Evaluate and select components, generate component specifications, and functional and test specifications •Produce circuit board schematics, circuit board layout and associated documentation as needed •Research and implement new technologies to enhance product features, improve reliability, and lower cost •Provide technical assistance to other functional departments such as Product Engineering, Quality, Reliability and Manufacturing •Support and work under guidance of senior level engineer.
