The selected candidate will work on building an Oracle Datamart that will house data for generating reports used by the Pharmaceutical Stability scientists. The project involves extracting data from a LabWare LIMS based system, transforming the data & populating the datamart and then building reports using Cognos based technologies. The ideal candidate should have exceptional technical, communication and problem solving skills and possess the specific technical/ application expertise listed below: • 8+ years of experience on enterprise level systems projects in the Information Technology (IT) industry with a minimum of 6 years on data warehouse/business intelligence projects, including end-to-end experience on at least 3 data warehousing projects. • 6+ years of strong analytical and complex problem solving skills with experience as a systems analyst for all phases of the system development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, documentation, operations, and maintenance. • 6+ years of hands on experience in data modeling and design, data warehouse metadata concepts, tools and repositories • 6+ years of hands on experience in implementing data scrubbing/ cleansing and data warehouse population techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models, techniques • 6+ years hands on experience with developing data transformation & ETL jobs using Informatica PowerCenter on a Linux environment • 6+ years of hands on experience in developing Cognos models & reports using Cognos Framework Manager, Cognos Query Studio, Cognos Report Studio • 6+ years of hands on experience in Oracle with at least 4 years on Oracle 10g • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry and an FDA regulated/validated environment is required • Working knowledge of LabWare LIMS would be highly desirable send resume : [email protected] --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OCP_DBA" group.
