New Position Job Title: Database Developer/Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA Contract – 3 months All candidates must have the red highlighted skills *Job Description:* · The warehouse developer/analyst is responsible for creating solutions to business problems. The candidate will analyze requirements and source data to develop data warehouse solutions utilizing SQL, REGEX, and Netezza analytic functions. This is a hands-on, individual performer position. *Key Responsibilities:* · Participate in functional and technical design sessions with project team members and business users · Translate business and functional requirements into data warehouse solutions. · Contribute to the detailed estimation of development work · Contribute new ideas to improve the design and functionality of the data warehouse *Qualifications:* · Candidate must have strong solutions experience and a track record of designing solutions to meet business needs. · *The ideal candidate will have experience transforming web logs into database structures for use in a data warehouse. Candidates that do not have experience with web logs need to have solution experience in transforming unstructured or semi-structured data sources into a relational database structure. Or candidates that have design and/or developed solutions in pattern recognition / matching.* · At least 4 years of experience in SQL, ability to understand explain plans, experience on one or more of the following databases: Oracle, Tereadata, or Netezza · At least 2 years experience with a 3GL programming language: C or C++ preferred, Java, C# are also acceptable. · Bachelors degree, or higher, in one of the following: Science, Mathematics, or Engineering. · Experience with Regular Expression (REGEX) · Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly · Experience with third normal form and dimensional designs · Prior experience and functional knowledge about the Web Advertising industries and providing solution in Web industry based BI solutions · Ability to work with other team members including Data Architects, ETL Developers, and QA members. · Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills. -- Regards Ryan Smith [email protected] 732-734-0711 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OCP_DBA" group.
