Requirements: • Full Life Cycle Experience in Data Warehouse Design, Development, Tuning and Support. *• 2-3 years experience in database administration and database development with SQLServer data warehousing on SQLServer 2005/2008, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services (2 years+), and SQL Server Reporting Services * *Candidates must have extensive experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 including SSIS, SAS and SRS.* • Experience with Migrating legacy SQL server 2000 DTS packages to SSIS • Experience with design/development of OLAP cubes using Sql Server Analysis Services. • Experience with integration of OLAP Cubes with Microsoft Excel for data rendering. • Experience working as a proactive business analyst assessing and understanding data needs. • Experience in Business Analytics (Determining Requirements for Reports, Dashboards and Data Mining) Work Description • Architecting database and BI solutions according to industry best practice with relation to data modeling, enterprise application integration, data quality management, data marts, data warehouses and analytics. • DB development and management tasks - creating Indexes, functions, stored procedures, creating databases, file groups, users, configuring permissions and assigning roles to users • Performance analysis, DB performance testing and performance tuning - optimizing code and improving efficiency in databases including re-indexing, updating statistics, recompiling stored procedures and performing other maintenance tasks • Designing and implementing SSIS packages * custom tasks, .NET code integration, debugging, tuning and optimization • Designing and implementing analytic solutions - SSAS, dimensional modeling, storage modes, partitioning, mdx programming, presentation - dash boards, MOSS/Performance Point, SSRS, 3rd party tools • Designing and implementing reporting solutions using SSRS -- Regards Ryan Smith [email protected] 732-734-0711 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OCP_DBA" group.
