*Senior Database Engineer*
*LOCALS PREFERRED * *Rockville, MD* *Scope of Position:*** Design, develop, and maintain database applications for the Wealth Management group Work with product managers, project managers, and other development team members on a daily basis to analyze requirements, design, and develop database applications. *Main Responsibilities:*** 1. Meet with business stakeholders and other technical team members to gather and analyze application requirements 2. Design database solutions to satisfy application (business and technical) requirements 3. Implement database solutions using available database development tools 4. Provide first level operational support for development and production database systems 5. Provide written status reports to management regarding project status, task, and issues/risks *Required Skills:*** 1. Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience 2. 5 years working experience in Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, or other relational database 3. Proficiency in relational database design, data warehousing and database administration 4. Strong experience in Informatica ETL tools 5. Strong experience in Business Process Modeling (BPM) 6. Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL 7. Experience in Oracle Designer, Visio design tools 8. Experience in database performance tuning 9. Experience TOAD, Oracle Enterprise Management development tools 10. Experience in Unix Shell Scripts 11. Experience in configuration management and code version control 12. Experience with Sun Solaris, Digital Unix, HP-UX, Windows NT/2000 13. Good written and verbal communication skills 14. Good technical and problem solving skills; 15.
