Position : SQL Server DBA Location : Atlanta, GA Duration : 2 Years Landscape: Microsoft Applications Group Applications in Group: Nautilus; Quality Measures; Service Source; Picasso; Sparkcity; Customer Portal; Coke Channel Required Skills: * Experience in developing, supporting, testing applications with layered/tiered architecture with a clear understanding of control flow across the various components / layers in a clustered environment. * Proven problem solving and trouble shooting skills in a 24x7 support environment. * Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to understand the "audience" and tailor the communications appropriately. * Moderate Server administration (Microsoft Windows & IIS preferably in clustered SAN environment). * Moderate expertise in application server and DB administration (SQL Server) to the extent of eliminating / narrowing the root cause of a problem to the application versus platform / database infrastructure * Experience with bolt-on tools such as job schedulers or monitoring tools, messaging, SFTP,FTP, SSO certificates. Experience with stress and performance testing, source control, with planning / participation in a Disaster Recovery test a plus.
