http://sites.google.com/site/ocropus/install-0-3 says that --without-fst and --without-leptonica will disable OpenFST language modelling and parts depending on Leptonica respectively.
It's not quite clear to me what that means though. Will my install of OCRopus be less effective, slower or otherwise impaired if I don't include OpenFST and Leptonica?
