Hello, I found the following slide describing the relationship between HMM and WFST: [ppt] FSA and HMM(http://faculty.washington.edu/fxia/courses/LING572/ FSA_HMM.ppt)
The slide gives exact mathematical formulation for converting HMM with discrete observation probability to WFSA. HMM with continuous obervation probability would have lower error rate than HMM with discrete obervation probability. However, I did long-time google search and found no paper or formulation about the conversion of continuous HMM to WFST. I am wondering if there is such conversion. The kind of HMM applicable to OpenFST is discrete HMM. Am I correct? Could you share your view on this? Thanks a lot.
