Does anyone know of a Drupal Ocropus module? I'm in need of one, and would rather not reinvent the wheel if it's already available somewhere!
Ideally an Ocropus Drupal module would display to logged in users when they are editing an image node and let them choose some basic Ocropus parameters such as the language and output type. Saving the changes would either run the OCR immediately, or put it in a queue to be processed by a cron job on the server. Such settings could also applied to all images in a book (using built in Drupal book support). On my test site, I am currently using the image_fupload, image cache and imagemagick modules and the Drupal books settings. I am able to bulk upload images into books, and am ready to start working on getting OCR working on those images. If anyone knows of a Drupal module to help with the OCRing, or has done something similar, I'd love to hear about it.
