There's a new incremental release of OCRopus 0.4.2 in the repository. It implements a new BookStore class (and uses it by default); the new format uses the pixel values in hexadecimal from the page segmentation file as file names for the line images. This makes it much easier to relate the segmentation to the lines.
There is also simple dynamic loading support for extension modules now, and an example for an extension module.
