Hmm, I found out that the coordinates I supply to extract subimage are ok (x0,y0 - bottom left corner, x1,y1 - top right corner) but for some reason the Y dimension of the subimage is negative??? I mean the X dim = x1 - x0, but Y = y1 - y0 has a negative value... This is probably causing all the next steps to fail...
Can anyone comment on this? I'll go and interrogate extract_subimage source code in the meantime.
