Hello, my name is David Harris. I work for a real estate data modeling start up. I'm using Ocropus to process the 1000+ images we receive on a daily basis from various sources of real estate data. I'm really excited about using open source software to handle our OCR needs.
I've been programming for almost 20 years and I've worked with Linux and other open source software (joomla, mysql, postgres, etc) in various projects throughout my career.
