Hi,
I would like to know the is there any best suited dpi for an
image so that Ocropus can read the characters from the image in a best
way.
Here are the samples i tried out.
1)Using 200dpi the result was not good
2)I made 300dpi output as the base line output to compare though
it is not that great in many scenarios
3)Increased the dpi to 600 but felt 300 is giving a better result
4)Increased again to 1000dpi.The nature is some of the characters
read in 300 is lost and many are not captured in 300 are present this
time.
>From all these exercise i am not able to reach to a conclusion.
Please suggest.
