I managed to install it on OSX 10.8, however the process was hectic. In brief, Homebrew is your best friend. Use the python provided by homebrew (probably better remove any installed pip or easy_install library). Tap this repo https://github.com/samueljohn/homebrew-python. Install all required packages such as scipy, numpy, matpolib, tables, opencv...etc. Then, try to run the run-test script, it might reveal other not installed packages, install them by homebrew as well. After couple of hours I got it running. Sorry if I can't give you specific instructions but that's what I've done IIRC.
Cheers, Remon P.S. have you tried Tesseract? On Tuesday, 19 March 2013 07:20:36 UTC+2, Paul Podlipensky wrote: > > Hi, > > Does anyone knows how to install Ocropus on Mac OSX 10.8 ?
