I think its time for an octave-forge release to go with the just released version of Octave.. I've been trying to test octave-forge with the 3.0.1 release candidates and octave-forge is basically ready.. My TODO list that I had prior to release was
* Need to fix mingw build of fixed package prior to a release * See if I can't get the java package to work with jre 1.7.0 on an x86_64 linux machine (on a quick test I didn't) * -fPIC flags in SWIG based packages still don't seem to be quite right.. Though all of these are optional to fix, I'd like to see at least the fixed/mingw issue addressed (hey this is my package and the bug has been around for a while).. Are there any other fixes that people would like to add? I'd suggest sometime early next week as the time when the release would be done.
