Could report the exact error message you get (like a screenshot of
the error box you get)? Could you also report at which point in the
installation process this occur (during installation, there are a lot of
log messages shown in the installer window; could you tell what is
the last one before the error).

You can safely re-try the installation, without uninstalling. As long as
you use the same configuration (installation path...), the unfinished
previous install will be completely overwritten.
