I installed octcdf from svn. Now, for "nv.units = 'm';" I get
error: invalid assignment to cs-list outside multiple assignment.
while for "nc{'var'}.units = 'm';" I get
error: a cs-list cannot be further indexed
error: invalid assignment to cs-list outside multiple assignment.
I guess, the error has some relation to
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/384616240a8f
which was not there in octave (3.2.4) hence you were able to run my code.
