I am trying to troubleshoot an issue with imwrite in the Windows version of
Octave. If you read in an 8-bit image with imread.m and write it out with
imwrite.m, the in an out images are not exactly the same. Many of the
Individual pixels are different by 1 gray scale level. I have an example of
the problem if anyone would like to see it.
Imwrite.m basically passes through to __magic_write__ that used the
GraphicsMagic library.
Where can I find the source for __magic_write__ is located. ?
