Hi I was looking for an octave function just now and found a page where a group of masters students wrote a bunch of octave funtions released them under GPL back in 2005. Some of the functions there are missing on the image package. They are relased under GPL so we could probably put them in the package but I guess someone should mail them and ask them nicely?
