Currently, audio handling does not work very well in Octave and it is great to see new people taking their stabs at getting this into shape. I think working with pulseaudio on Linux most likely makes sense. I do not know if we should try to find a cross-platform solution or if we should go for a series of platform dependent solutions. Any thoughts on this?
