Hi everybody, I would like to initiate a geometry package. My plan is to add most of the functions from matGeom (matgeom.sf.net), I already contacted the author and he agreed (right now we are fixing the licensing). The core package geometry is still quite empty and I think a forge package could serve to increase the flow of tested functions into it. I can be the package maintainer.
The package could have a section of files dedicated to Input / Output. I have created a set of functions that load polygons from an SVG file (primitive but working) and I would like to add them there also. The files can be reviewed here https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3412881&group_id=2888&atid=352888 Thanks for your opinions. -- M. Sc.
