Looking at it, this should be pretty easy. I wait the two days until the
patch is committed or someone has further comments and I need to change
something and then I will prepare a patch for that as well, including
some tests for the added functions.

I would like to improve the half automatic wrapper creation used in this
package somehow, but I am afraid due to a lack of time I have to
postpone that. So at the moment adding that manually is the only option,
but not much work.
