Hi Adrián just to let you know that this was not forgotten. I was hoping that someone would show up and manage to fix it. As that doesn't seem to be happening, I added your report to the bug tracker here https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3440926&group_id=2888&atid=102888 It would be great if you were able to fix the problem and submit a patch for it. The function is written in the GNU octave language so it shouldn't be too hard provided you know the subject.
